From the battlefront to the home front, this exhibit creates windows back to the people and events that shaped history and the modern world.

An educational exhibit featuring actual human bodies. The inspirational human anatomy lesson is comprised of more than 11 whole-body specimens and 75 anatomical displays that have been preserved through polymer impregnation.

Celebrate your spiritual beliefs during the 58th season of Galilean Beach Worship Service, which kicks off on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 11) and runs through Labor Day weekend (Sunday, August 31). Conducted by the Foley United Methodist Church (FUMC), these outdoor ecumenical services will begin each Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. and usually end around 8:20 a.m. Remember to dress casual, and bring your lawn chairs or blankets to the beach near the Gulf State Park Pavilion in Gulf Shores.

The "Gulf Coast Zydeco Music & Crawfish Festival" is a festival that presents some of the best Zydeco dance bands that lower Louisiana has to offer. In addition to the bands are the Zydeco dancers from around the country and Zydeco dance instructors ready to teach you how to Zydeco two-step! That's not all. The great array of food featuring crawfish and other creole and cajun dishes from a Louisiana.

9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Join Rich Willows for four days of exploring and interpreting our special environment through watercolors. Learn to paint the ocean, sea life, the flora and fauna of this rich island. Rich is a wonderful college instructor and accomplished watercolor artist with years of experience. Rich will help you begin or improve your skills in painting.

6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. The heat of summer will soon be upon us. Join our Chef as she shows you ow to prepare delicious, light and summery dishes to help keep you cool. the menu includes Chilled Asparagus Soup with Crab and Avocado Timbale, Orzo and Grilled Shrimp Salad with Mustard-Dill Vinaigrette, Poached Salmon with Mustard Sauce, and Strawberries with Ricotta Cream and Pistachios.

Steve Dark will be teaching a pottery classes from beginning to advanced students. Students can explore hand building, sculpting, wheel throwing and glazing. Come enjoy working in clay.
